At Peace Lutheran Preschool we believe that each child is a unique individual and should be encouraged to grow intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally, creatively and spiritually at his own pace. To accomplish this growth, children learn by exploring using all their senses and participating in practical life experiences. It is our desire to be partners with you in providing opportunities for your child to grow in each aspect of his/her development.

Peace Lutheran Preschool is licensed by the State of California and under the direction of professionally trained Christian teachers. Admission is open to any child 2 years 9 months through 5 years without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Preschool hours are 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
2 Days Per Week Program (T,Th)
3 Days Per Week (M,W,F)
5 Days Per Week (M-F)

The student to teacher ratio in our three year old classroom is six to one. In our four and five year old class the student teacher ratio is seven to one.

DAILY ACTIVITIES

Activities are chosen with the developmental
characteristics of 3, 4 and 5-year-olds in mind and include such activities as:
Jesus Time
Creative Arts
Sensory
Math
Table Top Activities
Science and Nature Activities
Outdoor Play
Language Development
Music and Movement
Block Building
Dramatic Play and Housekeeping
Nutritional Snacks

In addition to the above regular activities there will be special events such as:
Field Trips
Silly Hat Parade
Christmas Program
Seasonal Parties
Children's "All Star Song & Dance Revue"
Other Special Days and Projects

TUITION

Click here is our fee schedule for the 2010-2011 school year.

A non refundable registration fee of $98. is payable at the time of application. The tuition is based on the actual costs of operating the school divided by the potential number of students to be enrolled. The yearly tuition is prorated into 10 equal installments, for your convenience, to be paid on the first of each month.

LUNCH BUNCH

Lunch Bunch is offered twice a week from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. A child wishing to participate in this optional program brings their lunch to school and stays for an additional hour of supervised play.

EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM

We offer morning child care from 8:00 a.m.
until school starts at 9:00 a.m. for working
parents.
