Good stewardship of the earth calls for some temporary sacrifices...
In order to save a lot of water in a time of extreme drought, Peace Lutheran Church agreed to the pruning of its well-known and well-loved avocado trees. The concern for the environment is a fruit of faith, itself. Hopefully, while we await the return of the avocados the spiritual fruit of Peace members will continue to grow in the Spirit (Galatians 5:22).

"...and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit." - John 15:2 Thank you to Troy Harvey of the VC Star for the first three photos above.

As we wait for the avocado trees to resurrect, we have been planting pumpkins for our annual Peace Pumpkin Patch & Fest, and we pray for the harvest!
