Dear Peace Lutheran Congregation, It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself to you as the Choir Director at Peace Lutheran Church. I’m very touched by the warm welcome I have received in my first year here. I look forward once again to offering beautiful praise to our Lord with the help of all the willful hearts serving to enhance and enrich our worship. After serving 32 years as Music Director in Ventura, I’m very happy to work for God’s kingdom right here in my hometown. Originally from Long Island, New York, Camarillo California is where I met my husband Tom and raised our daughter Renaye. I began studying music, playing an instrument and singing in the Our Savior Lutheran Church choir at the age of 10. Music continues to be one of the greatest gifts from God and an essential part of my personal piety. I can only hope to inspire the choirs to thrive in joy and servant hood so together, we can give our best to our heavenly Father in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. One has the unparalleled privilege in a choir to praise God and bring other souls, besides your own, closer to Him... because of your love of Christ. |
