During the bleak midwinter darkness seems to prevail, but this word from the prophet Isaiah gives us hope, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you. For look, darkness covers the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and His glory will appear over you." (Isaiah 60:1-2). The church season of Epiphany is sometimes referred to as the "season of light." Join us as we continue to explore the bright idea of light, the true light of the world. Bring your friends on Friday, February 28th, 2014 for games, prizes, science experiments, Bible memory challenges and, of course, pizza!
